Complete information about our house rules, costs, and policies. All residents must agree to these terms before admission to ensure a safe, supportive recovery environment for everyone.

Important: Insurance Coverage

Health insurance does NOT cover sober living rent or housing costs.Sober living is considered housing, not medical treatment. All rent and housing-related expenses are the resident's personal responsibility and must be paid out-of-pocket.

Payment Policies

Payment Rules

  • Rent is due every Sunday by 6 PM
  • Entry fee of $250 due upon move-in
  • Late fees: $25 after Monday, $50 after Wednesday
  • No partial payments accepted

Late Payment Consequences

  • Cash, money order, or bank transfer accepted
  • No credit cards accepted
  • Returned checks incur $35 fee plus late charges
  • Discharge for non-payment after 3 days late

House Rules & Expectations

Clear guidelines that ensure a safe, supportive environment for all residents in recovery.

Sobriety Requirements
  • Zero tolerance for alcohol or illegal substances
  • Random drug/alcohol testing as required
  • Immediate discharge for any substance use
  • No prescription medications without house manager approval
  • Breathalyzer tests may be administered at any time
Meeting & Recovery Requirements
  • Minimum 3 AA/NA meetings per week (documented)
  • Must obtain sponsor within first 30 days
  • Participate in house meetings and recovery activities
  • Work the steps with sponsor actively
  • No meetings missed without prior approval
House Living Standards
  • Keep personal areas clean and organized
  • Complete assigned house chores weekly
  • Respect quiet hours: 11 PM - 7 AM
  • No overnight guests allowed at any time
  • Common areas must be kept clean after use
Employment & Responsibility
  • Obtain employment within 30 days of admission
  • Work minimum 25 hours per week
  • Provide pay stubs and work schedule to house manager
  • Attend IOP or counseling as required
  • No calls out sick from work without medical excuse
Curfew & Check-ins
  • Sunday-Thursday: 11 PM curfew
  • Friday-Saturday: 1 AM curfew
  • No overnight guests allowed at any time
  • Weekend passes require 24-hour advance notice
  • Late arrivals result in loss of privileges
Prohibited Items & Behaviors
  • No weapons of any kind
  • No violence, threats, or aggressive behavior
  • No romantic relationships between residents
  • No lending or borrowing money between residents
  • No use of others' personal items without permission
Rule Violations & Consequences

Immediate Discharge Offenses

  • Any alcohol or drug use
  • Violence or threats of violence
  • Bringing substances onto property
  • Theft from residents or house
  • Sexual harassment or misconduct

Progressive Consequences

  • 1st violation: Verbal warning
  • 2nd violation: Written warning
  • 3rd violation: Loss of privileges
  • 4th violation: Probation period
  • 5th violation: Discharge from program
